Job Description

 

  • We are a microfinance company with inhouse technology design, development and support teams.
  • We are looking for a resource to be able to work with the CFO&CIO on internal projects with the following requirements:
    1. Prepare a project plan that covers time estimates, output planned, resource requirements
    2. Understand branch team expectation, document them, convert them to a product and outline a process around
    3. Understand and estimate risks related to the process, document the same and develop internal control structures to address the same
    4. Define and document stage-wise workflows for these processes
    5. Combine these requirements into a function design document
    6. Convert functional design into technical design for software development
    7. Work with the software development to support to convey, clarify the function design and technical design
    8. Review the development plan provided by the development team
    9. Monitor development progress
    10. Conduct functional testing on developed output
    11. Work on the software rollout plan
    12. Communicate the change in process through a circular to the relevant internal teams and have a discussion with them on the same.
    13. Support the training team to design a training program for the product / process
    14. Monitor rollout of process
    15. Document and provide feedback to various teams on the rollout
    16. Document each of these stages above through a project plan

Education and Skills

  • Education requirements
    1. CA & CISA or MBA (Systems) with work experience in software / financial companies
    2. CA with work experience on project management, software development, retail lending
  • Skills
    1. Sound understand of standard loan financial products, accounting implications related to all transactions surrounding loan financial products
    2. Ability to understand a requirement and document workflows
    3. Good English communication skills
    4. Strong documentation skills especially involving preparation of SoPs
    5. Excellent MS Office skills
    6. Good understanding of software development lifecycle
    7. Fair understanding of Financial ERP systems, general relational database systems, Android apps
    8. Experience with working on project management environments
    9. Independent worker, self starter
